being a master doesn’t mean you know everything.
hi #bornawakes® :)
it’s been a minute. we’ve been going through a major uplevel/upgrade here! hope you’ve all been enjoying and upgrading too. there are some shifts coming to the brand, one of which is feeling like a newsletter. details tbd but if you’re already into it feel free to sign up here.
anyways - enough of that! on to today’s topic. if it seems a little snarky, well - it is! a pattern i’ve really been noticing with #bornawakes® over the last couple months is this perception that being a master means they know everything. it’s this weird blend of being resentful at 3d life for not looking how they’d hoped, while simultaneously feeling ‘above’ participating in the 3d learning experience.
i realized in these conversations that my work thus far has given #bornawakes® a kind of cop-out, a way to use ‘owning their mastery’ as an excuse to not push themselves. it’s sort of like spiritual bypassing in reverse. for example: if an awakening being wants to escape their feelings or the energetics of a situation, instead telling themselves ‘everything is fine’ in service of doing all the 3d things?
a #bornawake® being wants to ignore 3d life and spend all their time healing, clearing, meditating. absolved from action. absolved from getting their hands dirty. checked out. while this isn’t wrong, in fact you know i tend to preach prioritizing the energetics over everything else...here’s the thing. just because you are a master, doesn’t mean you know how to embody that mastery in 3d. and if you spend all your time locked in an ashram, you’ll never get the HANG of 3d, to be able to embody your mastery in it! the quote that comes to mind is from picasso: ‘learn the rules like a pro so you can break them like an artist.’
for better or worse, 3d represents the ‘rules’ of this incarnation we’ve all chosen to experience. when we deny the importance of 3d matters or try to avoid showing up for 3d life we’re skipping a step. we’re trying to break the rules before we’ve become the pros we can be.
the thing to understand about #bornawakes® vs awakening beings is that we’re not BETTER than them, we’re just doing things in a different order. awakening beings master 3d life (the rules) and then slowly awaken to the truth of who they are (okay, the analogy kinda runs out of steam here but...they become artists?) in contrast, as #bornawakes® we are BORN rule-breakers! we want to be the artist in the analogy. we reeeealllly don’t want to go through the work, and the slowness, and the taxes, and the bringing lunch in our bags from home, that is sometimes life.
if we as masters are here to support the collective in merging the absolute perspective with 3d reality...if we are here because of our energetic capacity to hold the frequency of the absolute IN A BODY, IN A HUMAN EXPERIENCE, IN 3D REALITY...then a healthy reverence for the rules of 3d is required.
what are some examples of #bornawakes® thinking they know everything? i see this most often as #bornawakes® wanting to do everything themselves. it is the perception that sovereignty means doing it totally alone, figuring it out, solving it solo. this comes from the misguided perception that the only way to allow support is to sign over your free will or your intuitive knowing to someone else. #bornawakes® do this a lot, so it makes sense why they often fear it happening again.
owning what you know was confused with arrogance by those around you in the past, so when you are around others you might pretend *not* to know. this creates the conditions in which you either have to know everything - totally self-sufficient, an island, unable to reveal your true thoughts/feelings to others. or you have to try and believe you know nothing - ignorant, blind, a sheeple, whistling in the dark to drown out your intuition, but able to feel connected with and supported by others. can you see how neither extreme is actually the solve? (check out the portal for activations to resolve both).
the sad thing is, because #bornawakes® deny themselves the luxury of receiving support or guidance from others they end up backed into a corner where they HAVE to trust themselves to the point of arrogance. the feeling here is, well if i’m a master don’t i always know what’s best? don’t i just need to learn to listen to myself and drown out the noise of the world? (ummm...maybe if you didn’t have any open attachments?!? maybe if you weren’t here to close out massive amounts of karma and as a result, are creating and perceiving through the filter of that intention?!?)
it is a lonely and scary place to be, when you’re nervous to trust yourself but have created a system in which you’re required to trust yourself blindly. this kind of stark all-or-nothing thinking totally negates why you came here, #bornawake®! remember? you came here to HAVE FUN! so take a minute and get honest...are you having fun this way?
to break it down a little more...this arrogance, this ‘i have to do it myself,’ this ‘if i’m a master i already know everything’ usually plays out for #bornawakes® as trying to shift an area of their 3d life without understanding or honoring the ‘rules’ at play.
examples? trying to manifest a million dollars when you can’t consistently earn $5k/mo. deciding you’re ready for a soulmate but continuing to text your toxic ex. obsessing over choosing the right path, spending hours in meditation asking for your mission, but never applying for an internship or job to discover what you might truly like.
it’s skipping to the finish line of a marathon when you have never run in your life and only own birkenstock sandals. no way are you running 26.2 miles in those, bro.
i’m not saying you need to put the 3d stuff in front of the energetics, i’m just saying that energetics-first doesn’t mean ‘free pass to ignore 3d life.’ it’s the either/or again. how can you switch to both and more...how can you put energetics-first while simultaneously learning the rules of 3d reality?
making this the goal will also allow you to start ACCOMPLISHING things! instead of spinning your wheels, envisioning massive dreams but feeling completely disconnected from them in your day-to-day reality.
if 3d is the container through which the absolute expresses it is only natural that loving, appreciating and truly understanding the container will allow for smoother, fuller more joyful expression. so (some prompts for reflection)...
where are you resisting 3d life?
where do you prefer to cling to your mastery so you can avoid the humility of having something to learn?
where does it feel too scary not to know everything - like if you opened up to your potential limitations for even a second the whole universe would come crumbling down?
where is there the largest gap between your goal/desired experience and your 3d life? what have you made this mean about yourself, others, or the world? what support, skills, resources, mentorship etc would you need to become willing to accept in order to bridge this gap?
as always, let us know your thoughts! and thanks for being here. until next time,
xx SPIRIT
