ascension vs embodiment
hey friends! spirit here. after receiving lots of positive feedback on the seeking vs mastery article i decided to write a similar piece breaking down ascension vs embodiment. said differently: are you here to transcend or to experience 3d life in its entirety?
i want to break down ascension vs embodiment, however i want to note that what we’re really dealing with here are three different options: ascension, embodiment, and MASTERY, which is the union of both ascension (i’m creating my reality) and embodiment (i am present to the fullness of 3d life) without having to sacrifice one for the other.
i find that many #bornawakes® can identify this dynamic in themselves sooner than any other ‘marker’ of being #bornawake®. while awakening beings resonate with the idea of moving beyond the illusion of this reality, #bornawakes® desire to experience this reality FULLY - all while being fully present to, and anchored in, their mastery. what this means is being able to fully enter into a 3d experience while simultaneously knowing and honoring the truth: that reality is a video simulation you are projecting for your own enjoyment and expansion.
this ability to exist in both worlds at once is the core offering of the portal. it requires completing any attachments that keep you split/flip-flopping, and pulling forward all masteries needed to remain anchored and whole in both truths at the same time.
energetically when perceived in these terms it becomes clear why so many #bornawakes® are expanding beyond gender binaries, moving beyond fixed labels or identities of any kind, and holding corporations/governments/systems accountable for the truth and the fullness of what they are. #bornawakes® understand that ‘it’s not either/or, it’s both and more.’ however they can struggle to hold this perspective when their open attachments or missing/lost masteries come into play, preventing them from creating in alignment with what they desire to experience.
so how does ascension vs embodiment (and ultimately, MASTERY) connect to all of this? as a #bornawake® you desire the experience of living in both worlds at once. you intuitively know that this is where expansion will come from for you. this is the place to pay attention.
in contrast, awakening beings truly desire to transcend 3d. they want to remain firmly planted in the perspective of reality being a video simulation. it’s not relevant for them to attempt to hold this at the same time as fully entering into 3d experiences.
if you understand that we all came here with different intentions and at different stages of the evolutionary process, then start to think about it in these terms. awakening beings are on a path we have already completed. we are finished with awakening. we already know this is a video simulation. transcendence is relevant for awakening beings because the truth that this is a video simulation, is precisely what they are here to master! they couldn’t possibly hold both yet, because they are still discovering what one of the two ‘boths’ feels like.
as a #bornawake® recognize and own that you have already PLAYED the transcendence game in past lifetimes, the same way you have played the game of ignoring energetics/higher densities in order to experience 3d reality uninterrupted/unencumbered.
in the first evolutionary stage, we are conscious only of the illusion. we are, for lack of a better term - asleep. the separation between 3d life and higher densities is total. next, in transcendence we awaken to the higher densities and learn to seek or aim for them, to live in that higher realm - perhaps even ultimately dematerializing physically.
the #bornawake® mission is the ‘next step’ - the merging of these two extremes. this does not make us as #bornawakes® superior to awakening beings, or sleeping beings. it’s just a reality about our differing stages of energetic development, and as a result differing energetic missions in this incarnation. as a #bornawake® it’s quite common to feel ashamed about our resistance to ascending/ascension. pretty much all spiritual teachings teach that ascension is the goal - the natural result of learning to perceive ourselves as creators of our reality.
even with ideas like ‘breaking free from the matrix’ there is an underlying narrative that 3d reality is something to be escaped...fled from...defended against. ascension is offered as a way out of the unpleasantries of 3d life. but as #bornawakes®...we don’t actually DESIRE a way out. we want to learn how to hold our knowing - WHILE STILL BEING HERE. it’s only when our attempts to do so fail, that we resentfully come back to stories about ‘the matrix.’ this is just a projection of our own feelings of powerlessness. a natural reaction to being a new type of being without the tools to change! (try the portal and learn some - seriously).
so of course ascension doesn’t resonate, and that’s not bad or wrong. and of course it initially feels like going back to investing in 3d as truth might be the only option aside from ascension. but it’s NOT. the more #bornawakes™ begin to own their energetic mission and live in a way that SUPPORTS their operating system rather than fighting against it, the clearer it will be to all beings that embodiment/presence is an equally viable process of evolution and expansion.
