#bornawake® beware: transcendence culture
hi friends! spirit here :)
today i’m wanting to break down a dicey topic for #bornawakes® - transcendence culture. transcendence culture is similar to spiritual bypassing, if you’ve heard that term, although not the same.
spiritual bypassing is typically thought of as using spiritual concepts to avoid addressing the genuine emotions a person is experiencing. examples of spiritual bypassing would be the person who is filled with anxiety, has no money in their bank account, but continues to spend ‘as if they are abundant already.’ or the person who does all kinds of rituals to call in a romantic partner without addressing the serious trauma they experienced in childhood. the term spiritual bypassing applies mainly to 3d reality/ways of showing up: it’s about neglecting our 3d selves in service of some other energy or desired outcome.
transcendence culture is similar in that it requires a denial of core aspects of who we are as #bornawakes®, and it is similar in that it is powered by an upwards current of energy through the operating system. where it differs is that it is a relevant and ultimately desirable state of being for those on an awakening path. for that reason, awakening beings who have reached a state of transcendence will have their 3d lives in order as well as their energetic/spiritual lives. in contrast when #bornawake® beings attempt to follow the same path to wholeness they encounter massive resistance in themselves, because transcendence goes against their operating system as well as their mission.
what does transcendence culture look like?
transcendence culture is all about, you guessed it - transcending! it is about moving upwards through the system, from the lower (not a judgment - substitute for slower if triggered) densities UP into the higher (faster-moving) densities of the upper chakras. it is about slowly surrendering attachments to 3d life as well as the perceived identity of the ‘self,’ to move towards a state of blissful, unified oneness with all that is. transcendence culture is about shedding the illusion of the self, the illusion of 3d, and reaching a state while incarnated where essentially none of that matters to the person anymore.
all of the beings/teachers/gurus talking about true creatorhood - the concept that we are creating our own reality, 100% period - describe transcendence as the end goal. this was very confusing to me prior to the #bornawake® download, because i resonated totally with the goal of creatorhood but not at all with the goal of transcendence. i intuitively sensed that if i shed my identity (which i already knew to be an illusion) and stopped caring about 3d life (which i already knew was a video simulation) i would not progress or evolve as a being. transcendence felt super easy to me. it also felt like a cop-out.
if you are #bornawake®, please understand that all the trappings of 3d life like your identity, money, vacations, outfits, time in nature, attending concerts, dancing, making art, anything you enjoy or desire - it is ALL RELEVANT FOR YOU. committing fully to the illusion of 3d - going ‘all in’ on the simulation - is what you are here to experience. that is because your mission as a #bornawake® is to anchor the absolute energy DOWN, into 3d reality. in contrast awakening beings/those desiring transcendence, essentially desire to merge with the absolute and leave 3d behind. there is nothing wrong with that! it’s just not what #bornawakes® are here for. understand your role, and there is no longer any need to judge yourself OR others.
one of the reasons i wanted to write this article is because i see lots of #bornawakes® judging awakening beings, and confusing awakening beings’ desire for transcendence with spiritual bypassing. THEY ARE NOT THE SAME THING. while focusing on transcendence would be spiritual bypassing for YOU as a #bornawake® because it would require a denial of your true desires and mission - it is not the same for awakening beings. so next time you judge an awakening being instead reflect on where you feel unsupported, unable, not allowed, ashamed to honor your own needs to work top-down. there is probably some shame or fear around owning how your operating system works.
i want to also open up the possibilities to you, of really knowing your creatorhood WITHOUT having to make transcendence a goal. this is where the #bornawake® download was so pivotal. you see just because you know that you are 100% fully completely creating your reality, which essentially means you are one with all that is - it doesn’t mean that perceiving your oneness has to be the end goal. so many teachers i studied with spoke about moving beyond the veil of separation, and while i understood that that was necessary to truly anchor my mastery in 3d i really didn’t feel excited about the idea of experiencing 3d life in that merged way. to me it felt like, if i am perceiving everything like that then why am i even here? i might as well have stayed pure consciousness.
i had a lot of shame and confusion around this. i interpreted my desire to enter into the illusion of 3d as a block, or resistance to true unity/oneness. so i interpreted it as a block to having the 3d life i desired. instead, what i learned from the #bornawake® download was that since the #bornawake® operating system works top-down we essentially START from that merged, transcendent place...and need to learn to move that awareness DOWN through the system. so the work is not about leaving 3d reality behind or moving beyond it...but rather, completing attachments/pulling masteries forward to support us in anchoring that merged, transcendent perspective IN 3D LIFE.
this is how we make progress! so of course if we set transcendence as the end goal (when in reality, it’s our STARTING POINT) we are going to feel stumped, lost, stuck, directionless - like we’re spinning our wheels. in contrast once we understand that unity/oneness/no identity is our square one we are able to plot a course of growth and evolution that works for US.
